I love a good parody! I was looking at materials for the Canvas LMS (learning management system) and I came across a parody of the infamous 1984 Apple Mac ad. I guess you have to be in the "in" crowd to get the references though ;-)

A number of SMS, and group SMS, apps have come out on the iPhone AppStore (and in other smartphone AppStores for that matter).  Ping Chat was something that came out first (as far as I remember), then textPlus, then kik, and more recently a former "check-in" service,  BrightKite, got into the group texting game.  Heck, even BlackBerry is thinking about brining their BlackBerry Messenger

I love the IT crowd, it's a pretty funny show and it almost had an American version (which could have stunk, but the pilot looked good). Tomorrow will be my first day back in IT - should be fun (no, I won't be telling people to turn it off and on again...well, unless it's really needed ;-) )

Over the weekend I finished Splinter Cell: Double Agent for the XBox 360. It was quite an interesting game, and the first "real" Splinter Cell that I played since the original. There was a Splinter Cell: Essentials which I bought (played and finished) for the PSP, but that seemed to be more of a recap of the whole series in anticipation of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Most of the game was enjoyable,
