v6.2.3 - moving along, a point increase at a time

Review: Cibola Burn

Cibola Burn Cibola Burn by James S.A. Corey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Interesting continuation of the series. We've now moved onto a more colonial part of the adventure (new worlds to explore an colonize), and all the perils that come with it. I do wonder if we'll find out what happened to the old civilization that built the portal system and the protomolecule. Part of this book reminded me a lot of the power that corporations were given when they were essentially deputized during colonial times (see another TV show, "Frontier" as an example)
