Had my last class last night (for the semester).One Take-home exam, and one small research paper to do and I am scott-free!Time to get crankin' !

Every now and again I look at the Massachusetts Bay Library Commissioners website to see what new and exciting librarian jobs there are. I don’t have an MLIS (Master’s of Library & Information Science) degree, but that does not deter me, since there are jobs that don’t require the degree.Many library jobs do require an MLIS degree though, jobs that I would not have thought needed an MLIS

I often find corporate punishments humorous!Take Raytheon CEO Bill Swanson for example - wrote a book(let) of lessons learned while he is in the driver's seat, but he took some (or a lot) of material from a 1944 book called "The unwritten laws of Engineering" and he did not give credit where credit was due.Since this was a freely distributed booklet among Raytheon, and no profit was made, big deal!

I know that some people are just not meant to be public speakers, but placing what you have to say verbatim, on a powerpoint slide is not a presentation!I felt sorry for some of the people that presented last night. No one is perfect, but the slides were really the slides from hell. You needed a microscope to view the text from the back row and what what on the slide was what the presenter actually

Αυτή είναι η τρίτη εβδομάδα.Έχουμε μια καινούργια που δουλεύει για το τμήμα (στην βιβλιοθήκη που δουλεύω τώρα) και είναι τελείως η κοπέλα. Τρεις λαλούν και δυό χορεύουν όπως λέει και η φίλη μου η Βαμπιρέλα.Λοιπόν άκου φάση:

19 more days of school!...or 4 more class sessions and 2 finals depending on how you see it, I prefer the latter to the former.So what's left?- A presentation in Finance about the Adidas acquisition of Reebok (in Keynote of course)- A final paper for Knowledge Management (regarding the Newton community -- need to finish it up, 1/4 done!)- A final exam for my Finance ClassThen a small break for one

Όταν ήμουν στο λύκειο, ήθελα να σπουδάσω πληροφορική.Τελικά το είπα και το έκανα! Τελείωσα με πτυχίο πληροφορικής και νόμιζα πώς θα έκανα τρελά λεφτά και ίσως να μπορούσα να έρθω Ελλάδα μόνιμα (ναι – τέτοιες σκέψεις είχα).
