v6.2.3 - moving along, a point increase at a time

Hoping for a sunny weekend

The holiday on Wednesday was actully pretty nice. Sunny and rather warm. Great weather to sit out and enjoy the deck. The last two days have been gray and runny, bleh it figures that this happens when I take a couple of days off LOLLuckily the stages of patapon were equally rainy or snowy so it was an OK fit. I hope that this weekend will be nice and sunny.-- Post From My iPod Touch

WorldMate saves the day

I've been using WorldMate ever since it came out (on and off depending on what platform I've been on) and I love it! Granted I've never gotten the premium version that gives you travel times and such, but it would suffice it to say that WorldMate has been a standard install on all my Symbian phones.Well now it's coming to the iPhone and the company made this little animation to advertise the fact.

PSP is a Go!

Ah yes, I know - very bad pun! While the blog was on hiatus, E3 happened and Sony announced the PSP Go!, a portable version of their already portable Playstation Portable (PSP)! The difference here is that the PSP Go incorporates bluetooth and Flash based storage, and gives up on the UMD drive. The PSP Go is actually a pretty nice device! If I had some spare cash (and my PSP 1000 died) I would most

N80 on the Fritz!

After three years of daily use, my N80 finally gave up...or rather the display ribbon decided to give up. I am now stuck with a snow-white screen that shows me nothing, the D-pad does not work (most of the time) and the softkeys don't work (most of the time)...but on the upside I can still make and receive calls (sometimes)!I have decommissioned my trusty SonyEricsson P800 to act as my day-to-day

Television Tuesday: L.A.P.D

Εδώ και κάτι εβδομάδες έχω αρχίσει να παρακολουθώ την σειρά L.A.P.D. (Lekanopedio Atiikis Police Department). Η σειρά για όσους δεν την έχουν δει είναι περί μιας ομάδας αστυνομικών που ότι και να τους τύχει, όσο και εύκολο και αν είναι η αποστολή,

The Transformers computer peripherals

While I was migrating my blog, this little tidbit came across my RSS reader: Transformer peripherals!. The particular transformer pictured is Tigatron. I've never heard of this particular transformer, then again I am not the biggest transformer geek. I do like the Ravage USB stick but it's only two gigabytes. If it we 4GB or 8GB I would spend the $45 to get one. If the transformer were Laserbeak

Adieu Yahoo! 360...

Well, I think that I will call this the year the Year of the Web 2.0 Bubble Burst. This collapse has claimed another victim, Yahoo!'s own Social Network, Yahoo! 360. I have a Yahoo! 360 account (you probably saw it as one of my social networks on my homepage start page), but I guess I will be removing it from there soon given that Yahoo will be decommissioning the service in mid July. This just goes

Back from blog-vacation!

Well, this wasn't really a vacation per-se, but rather an excuse to try and move my blog from the RapidWeaver default blog page to blogger using RapidBlog. Most things went without a hitch. I was able to move all my posts to blogger (50 posts per day because of Blogger's limit), and then I spent some time changing links, making sure that things work and you don't get any page-not-found errors. All
