The Architecture of Productive Learning Networks by Lucila CarvalhoMy rating: 3 of 5 starsI'd give it 3.5 stars if GoodReads would allow it. This is an interesting book on case studies (essentially) on how people have implemented Networked Learning in their various environments. Some examples might resonate with you, and others might be too alien. Overall I think it's a good idea book. Some chapters

The top song for this week seems to be the same as a few weeks ago...so let's bump down to #3Te Regalo by Ulices Chaidez y Sus PlebesVerdict: Definitely an acquired taste (sort of how certain Greek music is an acquired taste if you haven't grown up listening to it :-) )
Sev Trek: Poor Squatty
When I first came across this in high school I thought it was funny...now some of these seem in poor taste... RIP Montgomery Scott(original archive here)
Review: Leviathan Wakes
Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. CoreyMy rating: 5 of 5 stars I started reading this series because I am a fan of the show. I am amazed at how faithful the TV show is to the book. Having seen Season 1 of the show I was not really surprised at the story, but I have to say that the book adds depth to the television series (some things don't translate). Looking forward to reading more of this

Escalation hit the interwebs last week, and having played a bit this weekend it's not bad! The Smoke & Mirrors mission reminded me a little of Star Wars (the aesthetic), and a little bit of Captain Planet (the "don't mess up your planet by polluting, Kids!)I played a bit in the competitive warzone queues and the space one is definitely my favorite or the two. The ground missions (invisible

The other day I wrapped up the campaign part of Battlefield 4 (which is really the only part of most games I play). I was originally thinking that it would pick up from Battlefield 3, but this game seems to be (more or less) self contained. With the exception of meeting "dima" in one of the stages in the middle part of the game. Dima being one of the characters involved in the previous

Seems like the #1 song this week in France (according to Billboard anyway) is a song I've heard before, so I dropped won to #5 to see something new to me.Chocolat by feat. Awa ImaniVerdict: I was prepared to not like this song (autotune seems a little overdone), but I rather liked it. Something to add to the playlist...
