Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow | Done

Continuing with my exploration of "the classics" (of two console generations ago), I've been playing Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The game originally came out for the original xbox, and I've been playing it on backward compatibility.  I didn't really notice any hickups in the single player game.   The title comes from the main bad guy of the series, Sadono, who calls his sleeper cells

This week in Greece

I was actually looking to go to my mail the other day, when I mistakely put in μα in my URL bar... Instead of mail, it took me to search results where I discovered a new song...Μα Εγώ by Στέλιος ΡόκκοςVerdict: κλαψουριάρικο χαχα.  Εντάξει, δεν είναι και άσχημο, αλλά πρέπει να είσαι προετοιμασμένος για

Sev TNG: I mean, have you looked at the other guy?

It's hard to believe, but I guess life imitates art. A couple of weeks ago the Democratic Party in the US unveiled their new slogan: I mean, have you seen the other guys?  (link to TheHill.com). I guess someone's got to make the Federation look good with all those badmirals running around :p (original archive here)

Review: Qualitative Research Design: An Interactive Approach: 41

Qualitative Research Design: An Interactive Approach: 41 by Joseph A. MaxwellMy rating: 5 of 5 stars This was quite a short book (in comparison to other methods books I've read) but it was quite good. Jobs responding to criticism

This came across my feed today.  This was obviously not available to me at that time, but it's definitely worth the watch.  I guess this is a time when Jobs wasn't throwing cameras at people ;-)

Review: Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Gorn Crisis

Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Gorn Crisis by Kevin J. AndersonMy rating: 3 of 5 stars This was an OK graphic novel. The watercolor inspired art direction didn't really do much for me. It wasn't bad, it just was not something that I was drawn to as compared to other comics I've read. The story was also mediocre. I was expecting more in-depth Gorn lore, and it seemed like a very throw-away

This week in US music

I came across this quite clip serendipitous while looking for something else.  It bubbled up I think while I was looking for some other music.  It's new to me... so - it's this week's new music for me ;-) I guess #nsfw if you don't want the "fuck" and its derivatives on your speakers at work :-)Woman by KeshaVerdict: Catchy and it's got a good beat. Something for the playlist
