The Eternal Tide by Kirsten Beyer My rating: 5 of 5 stars Man, this relaunch series does have a lot of death!  Each book seems to have someone central dying! Rosetta by Dave Stern My rating: 3 of 5 stars Back to Star Trek novel reading.  This was the last novel before the 'relaunch' of the enterprise series. Not a bad story - plus brownie points for some contemporary linguistics peppered in. That said, it felt a bit slow to begin (so much so that I lost the plot a bit while listening to it via TTS). Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World by Cal Newport My rating: 3 of 5 stars I've gone back and forth with this book. While listening to it some parts were just 2-stars and others were 4-stars. Perhaps the 4-star part was confirmation bias on my part.
