v6.2.3 - moving along, a point increase at a time

This week in isreali music

I was watching Reza Aslan's Believer series the other night when I saw a bunch of high energy "hippie" Jews (for lack of a better description). The interesting thing is that they come from conservative background, which I found a little conflicting with the 'liberated' hippieness on camera. So these guys where they were pumping some serious high energy music from speakers on their little van and they were sharing joy on the streets (which very starkly contrasted with the more conservatively dressed counterparts!). Sort of like a small group love parade.   I wish I had shazam going during the episode because the songs they were playing were pretty catchy. So...I looked up the Israeli charts and picked a song at random...

After all this years by Omer Adam
Verdict: Interesting, but not quite the high energy I was looking for. :-)
