OK....

Recently I wrote (in Greek) that my PowerBook is dead. Kaput - it no longer goes.

Now that I have been successful in moving all of my important files off the PowerBook and I no longer need to use it for my day to day activities, the darned thing starts working again.

Apparently the fan is the most recent thing that has stopped working, and when it overheats the machine stops working, producing the broken screen effects that I described in my post in Greek.

While the laptop is still going to the recycling bin as soon as I can afford another one, it's amazing that it still keeps on giving, despite the fact that a lot of things no longer work! (graphics processor, sound, fan, wifi...)
