One thing that really "broke" this last season was the idiotic break between the first 5 (or so) episodes of the season and the second part of the season. I should have gone back and rewatched the entire first part of the season, but oh well.

I will say that this was the most satisfying finale I've seen in a long time. I don't remember who Immortus was, and why they were fighting him, but the Immortus battle is on, which brought back those weird butts on feet. I think I had an audible "WTF?! They're back?!" when I saw them flooding the theater. I also didn't get why Immortus was then their friend at the end of the battle.  Just like with other parts of the show, this was one delightful "WTF Joyride" that ended in a satisfactory closure for all of the main characters. Even though Cliff and Rita die in the finale, I think this was also a kind of happy ending for them.

Maybe in 2024 I'll reward this series from the sstart.
