Another bit of a whackadoo series that I binged in June. This one is on AppleTV+, and it's questionable whether it's worth the watch 🙄 (spoilers).

In this series, Amber Chesborough is an American scientist in Colombia researching psychedelics to treat addiction. When she is kidnapped by militants, her brother, Bambi, and her husband, Prince, both US Army Delta Force operators (in the same unit), attempt to rescue her. Bambi and Prince have a complicated relationship, after a recent mission left their team leader dead, and Bambi prioritized his brother-in-law's life over that of the team leader.  What is also discovered over the duration of the series is that Amber is also a CIA asset, so she isn't just a scientist. Her kidnappers suspect this, so...she needs to find her own way out.

OK... this could have been a good series, but I found it to be oddly paced with a bit of a bizarre story. So, the first attempt at rescuing Amber fails, so I guess it's fine for Bambi to go become a Central American river bum, living off the river and drinking himself into oblivion? This is what l33t 0p3rat3rZ do? Jeez... 🙄. I guess about the only refreshing thing about this series is that it doesn't have a happily ever after,  but I won't spoil that ending if you want to watch this trainwreck of a series.
