A number of years ago I had written a post about how ungodly complicated Microsoft's presentations seems to be in comparison with Steve Job's keynote addresses. This past week I came across (as did many others), the Windows 7 upgrade chart, official from Microsoft themselves.

Now, a few years have passed since that last blog post on simplicity in presentations, and it appears that Microsoft has yet to learn their lesson. It's like they are trying to confuse people.

What would have been a simpler solution? Create a little web application, tell it what you are starting from, and what you would like to upgrade to, and then just spit out the results. See? Nice, Easy and Simple to comprehend!
