May the Swartz be with you!
I guess this is for all the Star Wars fans ;-) I think I discovered this on Reddit somewhere.
Star Wars intergalactic language - where's the school???
A little bit of humor from the feeds today. This was a Saturday Night Live skit that was cut for time, but it's so awesome. How do those people far far away understand the bleeps, blops, and ooouuuuuuuaaaaa (my best text impression of Chewbacca)?
Review: The Secret History of Star Wars

The Secret History of Star Wars by Michael KaminskiMy rating: 3 of 5 stars This was an interesting book to read. I am much more of a Star Trek person than a Star Wars person, but it was interesting to see how the sausage was made. The key question that came to mind as I was listening to all the revisionist history of this franchise is this: Who really owns (in an intellectual non-commercial
Best patch note ever!

STO is down for maintenance. Last night the First Contact event was hard to get into, which I assume is one of the things being looked at. I loved this patch note today: Resolved an issue where the Heavy Escort Railgun was healing enemies instead of damaging them. Healing your enemies would make for some really long battles - but this gives me a good idea for a console:
Nerf Herder (I don't wanna be no) - The Younglings
This song has been sticking around in my head these past few weeks (and I am not a huge Star Wars fan!)

OK...yes...I am still talking about Spain even though I've been back for two weeks now ;-)ID4: 2I am catching up on some things that I wanted to blog about while I was away - namely in-flight entertainment. Heading over to Europe is usually sleep-time on the plane, so I don't get to see a ton of movies, but coming back we're going back in time (so to speak) and that allows for some additional
Mandalorian's Revenge (SWTOR)
I am still working on the original content (haven't even gotten to expansions!), but the new chapter coming in a few days is looking interesting!
Still going on with SWTOR...
You know... When I started playing SWTOR, I didn't think the game would be this long! After playing Defiance for a bit (still playing, but not as much - maybe an hour or so per week), I thought that SWTOR would be light on story, and heavy on the end-game stuff (that requires people to subscribe for goodies). I am pretty happy to report that there is still a ton of story left in this game!I
May the fourth
I posted this last year - but it hasn't gotten old yet ;-) Tim Russ explains May the Fourth ;-)
How Star Wars: The force awakens should have ended
ROFL - "bring me my precious!!!" ;-)
Star Wars characters as Calvin & Hobbes
Something found on social media recently, Brian Kesinger has drawn up some of the new Star Wars characters in Calvin & Hobbes style :-) Pretty cool for those who love C&H :-)
Star Wars Engineer

Seems like this is one of the things that is popular this week on the internet: The Death Star Engineer giving a speech - or rather an explanation - of why his design was sound, and it was only because "magic space wizards" were involved that it blew up ;-) Pretty funny if you ask me :-)
The new star wars ain't bad!
While I am not a huge Star Wars fan, episode VII (The Force Awakens) seemed like an interesting film from the trailer so on new year's day Kristin and I were off to see it in IMAX 3D. Prior to this I had seem some of the previous films. From the original trilogy I'd give a new hope 3 stars, empire strikes back 4 stars, and return of the Jedi 3 stars. From the prequels the Phantom Menace
Star Trek Wars (mashup)
Just something making the rounds on facebook these days... Funny or enraging? ;-)
Star Wars a-cappella
Star Wars isn't my top sci-fi franchise, but this a-cappella of the Star Wars themes by Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, and the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" cast is pretty interesting :-)
SWOTR, no go....
Over the weekend I decided to download and try out Star Wars: The Old Republic, a free to play MMORPG. I am not a huge Star Wars fan, I neither love it, nor I hate it. I just like it. So, with Star Trek Online being a little flaky this weekend I decided to download SWOTR and try it out. I was looking forward to it, but I didn't get very far with it. As a matter of fact I didn't even get
