U.S.S. Sagittaron NCC-94534

Well, after a couple of months of grinding through Star Trek Online with the new Legacy of Romulus expansion pack, I've played through the new missions on the Federation side (still haven't given the avatar a proper name and background.  Oh well, one of these days).  I've also just unlocked Tier V on the Nukara reputation front, which means I can start collecting sets on that as well.  I guess I won't really bother that much on the sets yet since I am probably missing the required dilithium to craft the items.

Having listened to some of the STO podcasts, I am hoping that they do something about this grind situation.  You need to rind for dilithium, grind for marks, grid for other things, it gets tiring after a little while.  Beyond the character traits (passive it seems all of them), I didn't see much point to the Nukara reputation system.  Let's see what pans outs when the next update hits later in September (hopefully I will be mostly done getting to Tier V with my KDF character by then, and have a substantial dent on reputation for the RRW character).

This weekend I also decided to do some house cleaning.  Instead of buying more ship slots I decided to finally decommission the U.S.S. Sagittaron, a Shi'Khar class ship that I was awarded when I joined the federation side as a Lieutenant.  I hadn't taken the ship out for a ride in ages, and it would probably not stand a chance in any STF borg missions, so it was time for it to go. I salvages the Aegis Technology Research set from it which took a while to get.

I don't have a ton of space in my inventory, but as soon as I can get another ship, I am also thinking of getting rid of the Akira Class I have, maybe replacing it with something more potent. Waiting for the fleet's ship yard to make it to Tier V so I can use my saved up fleet cash ;-)
