I don't often get excited about Star Trek computer games. The last one I enjoyed was "A Final Unity" back in the MacOS 8 days. The JJ-Trek game that came out around 2009 seemed like a shooter dressed up in a Star Trek skin.  Resurgence seems different! A bit pumped for it.

Defiance, the MMO that was tied in with the SyFy show with the same name, has been gone for a while now, its servers shut down before COVID hit (from what I remember). That doesn't prevent some intrepid fans from brining the game back as a solo, offline, game.  I think there's probably a lot more work to do, but this looks mighty promising!  I would love to play this game again, even without

The final Year In Review 2022 is all about gaming, which for me means mostly xbox (if you exclude STO). I am actually a little surprised that I only played 7 games last year (completed 6, still working on AC: Valhalla - I am not sure what counts as "complete" on TrueAchievements). Star Trek: Borg by Hilary J. Woohoo!!! It took a while...but I finally got all of the Mirror Incursion Research DOFF (duty officer) missions completed with a critical rating! OK, here's a game I completed back in December 2021 but I didn't have a lot of mental energy to write about it.
