OK, this is one the last blog from my backlog with a games-related theme ;-)Not gonna lie, at the end of Assassin's Creed Valhalla I was in a "WTF?!?!" mood. I wasn't really sure I wanted to know more about Basim and his ways, but...now that there's a trailer out and we get to see Basim's origin story (and hopefully some kind of redemption arc in the modern day...) I can't wait for this game

Another one from my blog backlog.  This one is the trailer for the next Prince of Persia game, subtitled "The Lost Crown". It's been a while since I've played a Prince of Persia game, and this looks interesting. I don't often play platformers, but this looks interesting. Knowing that Assassin's Creed started off as a Prince of Persia game, I really hope to see crossovers from AC to PoP in this

I am not a huge fan of mobile games. Every so often some things like Pokemon GO, or Assassin's Creed Pirates will catch my attention, but trying to emulate controllers on a slab of glass just doesn't do it for me.  I was going to pass on The Division Resurgence, but I am coming off a high brought on by Division 1, and it's likely I'll be starting to play The Division 2 soon...so...I guess I might

Generally speaking, the Fable games were fine.  I enjoyed playing them, but I don't run out and play every Fable game (like I do for assassin's creed...). I played Fable II, Fable III, and Fable Anniversary.  I skipped Fable Journey because I didn't have a Kinect. I was going to skip this one, but I recognized Richard Ayode's voice, so...I guess I'll be playing this one eventually ;-)

 Here's another game trailer that came out of nowhere, but I am glad to be getting a Star Trek game that's not tied to an upcoming movie.  I didn't get a chance to play the Star Trek 2009 movie-companion game, but from the demos it didn't feel treky.

Seems like it's video game announcement time, and even though I have quite a few unplayed games left, I am always looking toward what's coming up next!  Heck, I haven't even started Watchdogs 2 yet!    Anyway - Watchdogs Legion is coming out sometime this year and the cinematic trailer looks pretty good!  There's something very  "V for Vendetta" about this game.

The trailer for the new animated star trek series is officially out (with the series premiering in a few short weeks). I wasn't really sure about this series when I first heard about it, mostly because it was associated with Rick and Morty (another animated series which I don't particularly like - the dialog is not for me). After this first official, full length, trailer, I am cautiously optimistic

Another E3 2018 announcement - Microsoft's Halo Infinite. I've liked all Halo games I've played up to now, even though I have not completed all of them, and I have yet to play Halo 5: Guardians, so I was pumped about Halo: Infinite.  I didn't know it was coming, I was surprised and elated at the existence of an announcement trailer...and then it tell flat.  The trailer tells me nothing

Just by luck yesterday YouTube suggested the Ubisoft livestream from E3 (oh internet overlords, you know me so well!), and I tuned in just as the trailer for Assassin's Creed Odyssey came on screen.  I love the trailer, I love that I am able to pick a character, I love that it's going to be set in Greece during the  peloponnesian war, I think I like the Bioware RPGness of the game. There

Seems like some big announcements were made today and yesterday at this year's E3.  I hadn't even seen anything regarding this game in the game press (not that I was paying particular attention) but this game looks likeit could be a lot of fun, wrapped up in an interesting story.
