Once I finished off Max Payne 3, I dove deeply into another game of a similar genre, Battlefield 3.  The campaign side of the game (which is basically what I play since I am not a networked player for most things) was rather short comparative to other games, but if I were to compare the game to games of the same genre (such as the previous two Battlefield games I played and the Call of Duty

Analysing Networked Learning Practices In Higher Education And Continuing Professional Development by Lone Dirckinck-Holmfeld My rating: 4 of 5 stars Learned a lot on infrastructure and affordances in relation to Networked Learning. This was an interesting read, and my fourth book into this topic.  I still have a few more on my to-read list, but I am looking forward to them.

 A week or so ago I completed Max Payne 3, the most recent game in the Max Payne series of games.  This game trades in the comic book feel of the first two games for a more new (or trendy?" cinematic feel with game cutscenes and voice over by none other than Max himself. The game starts off with Max (at the end of the game) doing some introspection, a "how the hell did I get here?"

I was watching Reza Aslan's Believer series the other night when I saw a bunch of high energy "hippie" Jews (for lack of a better description). The interesting thing is that they come from conservative background, which I found a little conflicting with the 'liberated' hippieness on camera. So these guys where they were pumping some serious high energy music from speakers on their little van

Well... Just as I finished one reputation (Lukari), and have enough marks to get the gear...and now there is a new reputation coming along.  More grind....more grind :p   This one has several different types of sets that can be mixed and matched, which means a ton of grinding ahead.  But hey, there are capes!
