A little humor from last week's gamercat

From last week's gamercat (I think the author is taking a break).  As for me... not so much...full steam ahead for dissertation proposal.  The literature review is half way done. I've completed writing the MOOC part and I am moving onto the Collaboration part.  The MOOC part still needs editing, and it would make any APA aficionado weep, but the core is there.

A little holiday humor from Gamercat that I just came across.  A little late for most western Santas (St. Nicholas), but not that late for Greek Santa (St. Basil).

This made me smile this past weekend :-) I've heard of butterball turkeys in the past, but have never really bothered to look up what makes the different from 'regular' turkeys

A little humor from last week's gamercat. I think I went through the 'must play every game' phase when I was in middle school, I've slowly paired it down to the 'I only have so much time, what do I want to play?' :-)  The urge to play (or at least try) them all though is still there :)

I came across last week's gamercat and it made me laugh, and ponder, a bit.  Why are nintendo titles generally not available at launch, under-stocked, and over-priced? Even old games for the DS are not cheap (sometimes they are cheaper on ebay used, but not always).  What gives?

I love the whipping that the Playstation Vita gets from time to time ;-).  It's not that I didn't want the system to succeed, but between the lack of support and the many proprietary features...well it was begging to be on top of the dirt pile :-)

From last week's (or from two weeks ago?) Gamercat - how to get rid of your Magikarp... I do wonder if anyone is still playing that game (Magikarp jump). I found it dull and repetitive.
