One of the games I forgot to look for a trailer for last week was Metroid: Samus Returns, which is a modern version of Metroid II which came out in 1992 (25 years ago!!!) for the original GameBoy.  A good friend of mine had this game (and had beat it).  As was common back then, we traded game cartridges and I tried to beat this game by starting at the beginning, but I found it frustrating.

Some really nice looking games announced by Nintendo at E3 yesterday.  Some on the switch, some on the 3DS.  I like the concept of the switch, but I can't really justify getting one considering that most of what I want to play is on the xbox one... I guess that I need to collect myself better before writing posts and game reviews.  I just finished playing Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia (just now for me, a few days ago chronologically) and all I have to say is "Effff yoouuuuuu!"  This game was one frustrating

Well...it took a while...a long while, but this game is done ;-)  I had started to play this game part time on my 3DS because I wanted to get through the entirety of the assassin's creed series before I got an xbox one.  I had originally played this on my jailbroken iPhone 3GS many years ago (back in the iOS 4.x days) and I found the game extremely (extremely!) frustrating to control
